eProtea Company Retreat - Together As One

Just got back from the Company Retreat - Bangkok/Pattaya. Although it is the same place I visited in Thailand last year, I enjoyed more this trip as I got to rest more and the weather was good for me. I didn't bring camera there as the camera was lent to my sister's boyfriend's friend. Anyway, most of them brought their digital camera with them. So, some of them help to take photos of me there.

I enjoyed the 2 hours Thai Full Body Massage. Start from legs to head. I love the most when I have my head massaged. I almost fell asleep. It was very comforting. I wanted to get a foot massage. But I missed it. Slept too much! Hahahaha...

I went to watch Thai Girl Show. It was OK. Another eye-opening show, I would say. In a way, I find it disgusting to see the girls do things with their vagina like open bottle's cover, writing, smoking etc. They even put things like fishes, ribbons, small turtles, blades etc into their body through the vagina and take them out again. What's wrong with them?! The girls didn't seem to enjoy so much though. So, they just perform to get money. I pity them!

Shopping. I went to MBK, SIAM Discoveries, World Trade Center (Central Plaza) and Pratunam market. I bought nothing! Been to the Neraya shop in WTC (Central Plaza) where they sell all those fancy handbags, small bags made by clothes. Very elegant and CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP! I went through the shop and found nothing interesting for me. Save money! But my friends seems to be very interested in buying those bags. I think they spent around an hour in the shop. I was so thirsty and exhausted that I went into the STARBUCK coffee just right opposite of the Neraya shop and bought a fresh orange juice to quench my thirst. Gosh, it cost 60 baht (around RM 6)! Never mind! I was pretty loaded then. I felt a little guilty though at first as I promised Ocean and Yeong Yeong to have coffee together in STARBUCK. However, I was too thirsty. So, don't care anymore!

Hotel :
IBIS Siam Bangkok Hotel
- It was OK for a three stars hotel. TV got lotsa channels. Nice! Love it. I spent quite a few hours watching TV on the last night in Bangkok.

Jomtien Garden Hotel & Resort
- I love this hotel. Although the TV channels very few (only 3 channels if I am not mistaken), they have bath-tub and the room is slightly bigger. It was not those big elegant hotel that I dream of, but I find it comfortable to stay there. Cosy and nice. I managed to steal some times and enjoyed the bathtub with hot water. It was FANTASTIC! Next time I should have a bathtub in my house's toilet. Can do a Jacuzzi perhaps!

New Places visited :
Honey farm
- Nothing much to talk about. Just promoting how good honey can be. It was educational though. Oh and I drank quite a few cups of free honey juice. :p

Leather Shop
- Crocodile skin, snake skin... yeah all things made of animals skin. Mostly bags. Nothing much to see for me! :p

Places Revisited:
Biggest Gem's Company
- Slightly different experience as they have a short movie to brief us on gems. Then only the people walked us around to the gem's exhibition and counters. Witnessed WongSC and Ocean bought some gems. Oh I managed to try a few diamond rings! So fun! :P

Orchid Farm
- Still as beautiful as it used to be. Many lovely flowers. Mom will love this place.

Safari World/Marine Park.
- We missed some shows. We're there only to have our lunch and went through the Wild Animal Zoo. Oh, we were so lucky to witness lion's mating and bull's mating. The tour guide keep saying we're double lucky to witness two animals mating in a trip. It was cool though. We also witness the peacock open its ....ehhh.... tail?! You know what I am talking about la. Very nice!

NoongNoch Village
- Crocodile Show again. Don't really like it.
- Pig shows. Yucks! Filthy and stinky! Cute pigs though!
- Scorpions lady.

Thai Dance and Elephant Shows
- Thai Dance was OK. Maybe I am into culture show. But I don't like the Thai Boxing part and the war part.
- Like the funny elephant show but hate the elephants. They're stinky and filthy! Just like those pigs! Yucks!
